During the Opening Night Live from the Gamescom 20212K Games, Firaxis and Marvel Entertainment have announced and released the first trailer for Marvel’s Midnight Sunsa new tactical RPG set in what is described as the dark side of the Marvel universe.
The events of the game will begin when Hydra awakens Lilith, mother of demons, after centuries of torpor. Lilith will be intent on fulfilling an ancient prophecy and summoning her master Chthon, and the Avengers, who have failed to stop the advance of the dark forces, are forced to seek help from the Midnight Suns.
The Midnight Suns is a group of heroes with supernatural powers, consisting of Blade, Magik, Nico Minoru of the Runaways, and even Ghost Rider. The Midnight Suns, along with Doctor Strange, also bring back Hunter, heir to Lilith and the only creature that has ever been able to defeat her.

Similar in structure to the XCOM series, also by Firaxis, the game will feature a series of iconic superheroes including Avengers, X-Men, Runaways and many others.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns will arrive in March 2022 on PS5, Xbox Series X | S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
