Cold Iron Studios in collaboration with 20th Century Games announced today Aliens: Fireteama new cooperative third-person survival shooter set in the universe of Alien. Aliens: Fireteam will be released worldwide in the summer of 2021 for the Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Steam.

Set 23 years after the original trilogy of Alien, Aliens: Fireteam introduces players to the role of a marine aboard the USS Endeavor, recently tasked with responding to a distress call from the outer colonies. You’ll visit overrun structures, abandoned ruins and strange alien landscapes, all while battling terrifying enemies in four campaigns with two AI-controlled friends or teammates.
Confronting over 20 intelligent enemy types, from Xenomorphs to Weyland-Yutani synthetics, players must use cover tactics and master team strategy to eradicate extraterrestrial threats that swarm through doors and vents, climb walls and ceilings and strike from the darkness with eerie ferocity.

Among other features, we will find five character classes, a vast arsenal of weapons and customizable mods, character progression and innovative advancement systems. The unique challenge card system will also allow players to modify each mission, offering a new experience with each game.
