Apex Legends start the new year with a bang! From 5 to 19 January, the Apex Legends collection event Legendary Scuffles will celebrate Pathfinder, Mobile Robotic Versatile Entity (MRVN) friend of the Outlands.
With the new year there will be new content: 24 themed cosmetics available for a limited time, the new Air Drop Escalation mode, the takeover of Pathfinder Town, a new prize path and the release of the Gibraltar family heirloom.
Find out the details about the event before you fight:
- Airdrop Escalation Takeover: A new temporary game, “Airdrop Escalation Takeover”, will introduce more supplies containing fully equipped weapons of different levels. This mode will take the place of the normal “Play Apex” game mode, giving a twist to the classic Battle Royale with many more supplies; of course, regular weapons will still be present as basic loot.
- Pathfinder Town’s Seizure of Power: Legends will use their unique weapons and abilities to fight in Pathfinder Town. Players will be able to earn rare rewards and defeat enemies in hand-to-hand combat.
- Fight Night Collection Event: With a prize path, this event adds another set of 24 limited-time collectible cosmetics. All 24 items will be available through direct purchase (with Apex Coins or Crafting Metals) and in Apex Packs for the duration of the event. Players who collect all 24 event items will earn the Gibraltar Heirloom. After the event, the heirloom will be available to everyone via crafting.
- Loot MRVN: Appearing only in Olympus, MRVNs are now available to reward Legends in the arena. These friendly robots will only give players loot after interacting with them and will produce rewards depending on the level reached.
