In the two years since the launch of Apex Legends, Respawn has continued to revamp the multiplayer battle-royale genre and connect new players across multiple platforms. 2021 will continue to excite and surprise as Respawn aims to expand the reach of the arena, giving fans even more ways to compete and more reasons to play.
Season 8 is also out today: Chaos of the battle royale that has conquered the world and celebrates its second anniversary. Introduces the sixteenth Legend Salvo’s Mercenary Walter “Fuse” Fitzroy, who will bring destruction like never before. Fuse’s explosive fun will double with the debut of the 30-30 Lever Repeater Rifle, new items like Gold Magazine, and an update to the iconic Canyon of the Kings map, which includes new areas to explore and battle in.
