Apex Legends – Season 8 kicks off, release date for the Switch version

In conjunction with the start of the Season 8 – Chaos, EA and Respawn Entertainment are proud to announce that Apex Legends will arrive on Nintendo Switch worldwide on March 9th; The revolutionary battle royale experience will thus reach even more players and those who wish to compete away from the big screen.

Thanks to Panic Button, a team known as the best at delivering video games to Nintendo Switch, Apex Legends will be available on the small screen and accessible to even more players who wish to compete together through cross-platform play. In the two years since the launch of Apex Legends, Respawn has continued to revamp the multiplayer battle-royale genre and connect new players across multiple platforms. 2021 will continue to excite and surprise as Respawn aims to expand the reach of the arena, giving fans even more ways to compete and more reasons to play.

Season 8 is also out today: Chaos of the battle royale that has conquered the world and celebrates its second anniversary. Introduces the sixteenth Legend Salvo’s Mercenary Walter “Fuse” Fitzroy, who will bring destruction like never before. Fuse’s explosive fun will double with the debut of the 30-30 Lever Repeater Rifle, new items like Gold Magazine, and an update to the iconic Canyon of the Kings map, which includes new areas to explore and battle in.

Players will be able to download Apex Legends for free on Nintendo Switch on March 9, or enjoy Season 8 – Mayhem today on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC via Origin and Steam.
