After the announcement a few months ago, Ubisoft and VIZ Media have let all fans of the series know Assassin’s Creed that the new manga Blade of Shao Jun is available, expanding the narrative universe of the franchise.

From the acclaimed Assassin’s Creed videogame franchise and its 2015 game, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, comes a new action-packed manga, “Assassin’s Creed: Blade of Shao Jun”. Now fans will be able to discover an unreleased story that brings together the past and present of the Brotherhood in a truly compelling adventure.

In 1526 China, the Great Ming Empire thrived until Emperor Jiajing began a profound political purge, thus sparking a period of riots and riots. With the Brotherhood now gone, Shao Jun is the only Assassin still alive. She decides to return to her homeland to take revenge and look for a mysterious treasure that belonged to the Brotherhood.
But soon the situation becomes complicated, as he must face the powerful group of the Eight Tigers.

The story reveals the details of Shao Jun’s current descendant Lisa Huang, a researcher who is testing a device called the Animus. The Animus allows her to relive Shao Jun’s memories through some powerful simulations. Lisa is convinced she is working on behavioral therapy research, but she doesn’t really know that Dr. Kagami is using her and Shao Jun’s memories to find the mysterious treasure, whose fate now depends on both the past and the present!
