Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin ‘s Creed Odyssey it will run starting today at 60FPS on both PS5 than on Xbox X Series | Sthis thanks to an update dedicated to the latest generation consoles made available in the past few hours.

The predecessor of Valhalla, released in 2018, thus becomes the surprise protagonist of an upgrade for the new Sony and Microsoft consoles, and who knows that this may not represent a new incentive to give a shock to the sales of the game.

In a new tweet, Ubisoft announced that the epic open world RPG will receive a new update that will allow it to run at a nice and smooth 60FPS on new machines.

“Missing ancient Greece?” asks the tweet . “A new title update for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be released on August 24, adding support for 60 FPS when running the game on Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5 thanks to backward compatibility!”

The update, already available, weighs about 370 MB on Xbox and 470 MB on PlayStation.
