Tomorrow, July 22, on the occasion of the pre-show of EA Play live 2021we will see the reveal of a new mode of Battlefield 2042the brand new installment in the DICE shooter series due out in the fall.
A first teaser of the reveal, however, shows us with surprise the return of a historic Battlefield: Bad Company 2 mapwhich will therefore be present in the next game of the saga.
A particularly attentive fan on Reddit used Photoshop to reveal that the short video released by EA contains what appears to be a reference to a map of Bad Company 2, the setting Valparaiso.
As you can see in the image below, and more clearly in the comparison taken further down the page, the map shown in the video teaser looks like that of Valparaiso, one of the most popular locations by fans of the game originally released in 2010 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

For some time, indeed, it has been rumored that the still unrevealed mode of Battlefield 2042, which will be officially unveiled tomorrow, will be based on some iconic settings of the brand of DICE and Electronic Arts, which will make their return in the next game of the series.
The recent sighting of Valparaiso, which we have just told you, points precisely in that direction.
For fans of the series, the return of this map will have a bittersweet flavor. It is in fact one of the most popular settings, but it is also true that the great fans of Battlefield have been clamoring for a new Bad Company for a long time.
