It was December 8th 2017 when Nintendo dropped the bomb at The Game Awards: Bayonetta 3 is in development as a Switch exclusive. At a guess, that was also the last time we heard about the game, of which, after almost 4 years from the announcement, there is still no real trailer besides the logo teaser.
The Bayonetta franchise was launched in 2009 and over the years has established itself in the hack and slash genre rivaling games like Devil May Cry, and becoming one of Platinum Games’ leading brands. The third installment of the franchise, Bayonetta 3, was announced earlier in 2017 and fans are still eagerly awaiting the release of the game.
Bayonetta 3 not only has it not yet been released, but it has skipped all media appointments since the days of the 2017 TGAs, including TGS, E3, Nintendo Direct and so on. The developers, and Nintendo itself, are in almost total silence.
While fans await more information on the game, the historic voice actress of the franchise has answered some questions from players via Twitter, with statements that do not bode well.
Hellena Taylorhistorical voice actress of the protagonist of the series, has in fact stated that she may not be part of the series in the future, and that she is not free to disseminate further information.
Well you might have to.

We just have to wait for official statements from Platinum Gameswho recently said they want to show the game to fans but aren’t ready for that event yet.
However, one thing seems clear, after Taylor’s statements: Bayonetta may have said goodbye to her historical voice.
