From June 17, for example, a new explorable region and a new quest (or easter egg) will be available within the open world mode Epidemic, one of the most welcome surprises of the game.

If you are orphaned of a traditional Zombies map – the last one was Firebase Z, which dates back to February -, however, there is good news for you too.

Treyarch has in fact announced that in the course of July, perhaps in the update of mid-Season 4, it will be launched Mauer der Totenthe new Zombies experience of which we also got a very first image from the official website of the series.

As of today, we have no further official details about it Mauer der Totenbut judging from the first image it seems that it will be the much talked about map set in Berlin, within which we will be able to find the legendary map theater of Kino der Toten, from Call of Duty: Black Ops, with an operation similar to the one already seen for Die Maschine.

Despite so many months have passed from the second to the third map, however, Mauer det Toten will be the last of Black Ops Cold War.

The reliable insider is very convinced Tom Hendersonwho said Treyarch has already planned another map for September in addition to a possible surprise.

The insider claims that the developers already have a special package ready which he calls “Zombies Chronicles 2”in reference to the DLC published in 2017 on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 containing the reinterpretations of some historical maps of the mode. Henderson states that Treyarch would already be ready to release the DLC, but also admits that he is no longer sure that the maps will be released during the support of Black Ops Cold War – in this sense, the recent rumors that see Treyarch supporting Sledgehammer come to mind. Games for the development of a new Zombies mode in Call of Duty 2021.

The latest information is obviously not confirmed, so take it with due caution. However, it is not the first time that we hear about the remake of Kino der Toten and the return of some historical maps of the series such as TranZit, as we anticipated in the alleged leak before the release of Black Ops Cold War.
