Bloober Team’s new psychological horror will officially arrive tomorrow on Xbox Series X and Series S, and will be included in Xbox Game Pass immediately. It is an eagerly awaited and much talked about title in recent months, and which promises to be talked about also for the gaffe of which it became the protagonist (indirectly) The Medium in the last few days, but which has risen to the headlines only today.
Pending the release of the game, the developers have started sending press kits and promotional material to some influencers, and among these items there is also an exclusive controller for the Xbox Series X | S obviously dedicated to The Medium.
It’s just a pity that the marketing department got a little confusing, because PlayStation symbols appear on the packaging of the exclusive Xbox controller!
As you can see, for example, from the photos posted on Twitter by the influencer Ray Narvaez, who received his press kit last January 22nd, you can in fact notice that the black package dedicated to the controller, and surmounted by the The Medium logo, contains a controller for Xbox Series X | S as well as what appears to be a postcard or lithograph of the game.
All very nice, except for the black packaging There are also the unmistakable symbols of the PlayStation keys – Cross, Square, Triangle, Circle.
A simple oversight? It is very likely, but this does nothing but fuel the hypothesis that the game will soon arrive on PlayStation after the temporal exclusive agreement with Microsoft.
The Medium will be available from January 28 on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
