New bomb report by VGCwhich follows the rumors of the last few days: Activision plans a traumatic event for Verdansk, the current main map of Call of Duty: Warzonewhich will be replaced in April by a new setting.

Considering the reliability of VGC, we can assume that the information reported by the sources of the site is very reliable. According to the portal, Warzone is ready to renew itself with a new 80’s themed map, in full Black Ops Cold War style.

Thanks for reading!s on the site claim that Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 will indeed be Verdansk’s grand finale, the map that has been the main experience of the battle royale since its launch last March. Rumors have been circulating for a long time about how this shift will take place, and once again VGC confirms the rumors.

In fact, it seems that nuclear weapons, discovered within Warzone, will be responsible for the destruction of Verdansk, which will happen during Season 2 (we are only talking about a moment later in the event that started today) and that will prepare the battle royale for renewal.

With the latest map update, on the occasion of Season 2, new bunkers containing nuclear weapons have also been discovered; the apocalyptic attack on Verdansk seems ever closer.

It is not yet clear, however, what the new setting will be, which will likely go alongside Rebirth Island introduced in December as an extra experience of Warzone. The rumors suggest that the new battle royale map will be based on the Ural Mountainslocation already exploited by Treyarch for the large-scale multiplayer mode and with the very recent Epidemic of Zombies event, for a limited time.

In the past, rumors had also spread that Treyarch could have reused the Blackout map, the battle royale mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. For the moment, however, these are only guesses.
