2K Games and Gearbox Software have released Borderlands 3 Director’s Cutnew DLC for the craziest shooter in the galaxy that includes some unreleased content including sequences cut shortly before the launch of the title in 2019.
Here are the details in the press release that we report:
Watch out, Vault Hunters! Starting today, new challenges await with the Director’s Cut add-on for Borderlands 3. Pandora needs someone to teach the colossal raid boss Varkid known as Emovora the Invincible a good lesson. Ava may need your help solving a series of interplanetary crimes that she is documenting in her new podcast of hers. With the first of three Crypt Cards scheduled, you’ll then have the opportunity to unlock new gear and cosmetics in honor of some fallen Borderlands heroes.
For those interested in the process of making games like Borderlands 3, Director’s Cut also includes tons of behind-the-scenes content. Explore a gallery full of sketches and storyboards, see the cut contents (including Maya’s funeral scene) and all the chaotic ducks. Perhaps you will also find some answers to questions you didn’t even know you wanted to ask.
Coinciding with the release of Director’s Cut, the “Disciples of the Vault” cosmetic packs have been granted to players who own the Season Pass 2 or Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition and are now available for purchase separately. These cosmetic packs show who the Borderlands 3 Crypt Hunters would have become if they had joined the “Children of the Vault”. Each character-specific pack includes a one-of-a-kind Crypt Hunter body and matching head, which you can mix and match with any other customization options you have in your collection.
