With the latest trailer of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Japanese name) – The Hinokami Chronicleswe were able to admire the work done on the story mode of the game which recalls the events of the first season of the popular anime (inspired by the manga) which sees the team of demon slayer face the fearsome, in fact, demons eating men and the protagonist Tanjiro Kamado intent on saving his sister Nezuko after transforming it into one of those fearsome creatures.
This time, however, with the third trailer presented so far, we are presented with the Versus Mode 2vs2: here we will be able to face a second player (as in classic fighting games) in one clash between the main characters of the anime; here is a list of those seen so far:
- Tanjiro Kamado (water breathing);
- Nezuko Kamado;
- Zenitsu Agatsuma;
- Inosuke Hashibira;
- Giyu Tomioka;
- Sakonji Urodaki;
- Sabito;
- Makomo;
- Shinobu Kocho;
- Kyojuro Rengoku;
- Tanjiro Kamado (fire dance);
- Murata.
From the side of the gameplaythe different ones are introduced combat mechanics which include, for each character, element-based breathing and related kata, as well as the simple slash of katana rather than parry and exchange functionality of the partner, to prevent a swordsman / other used by us from being defeated; together they are also shown special cutscenes if you choose certain pairs of characters or if you go to conclude the battle with the final attack of one of these.

We remember that Demon Slayer – The Hinokami Chronicles will be released worldwide on October 15, 2021in conjunction with the release of the second season of the anime, on all current consoles (except Nintendo Switch) and on PCwhile in Japan it will arrive a day early.
