Blizzard has announced the details of the Alpha single player version of Diablo II: Resurrectedthe remake of the historic role-playing game.
Here are all the details announced in the press release that we report below.
We are happy to announce that Diablo II: Resurrected single player technical alpha on PC will be available this Friday, April 9th at 4:00 pm and ends Monday April 12th at 7:00 pm. Adventurers will once again be able to hunt down the Dark Wanderer, but this time with glorious high definition graphics!
In the technical alpha, participants will be able to choose three of the seven classes and play the entire first two acts of the game. You can fight as the ferocious Barbarian based on melee attacks, the swift and agile Amazon or the Spell-casting Enchantress. He avenges the Scolte by fighting your way into battle to their sacred Monastery and confronts the Lady of Anguish Andariel before heading east to Lut Gholein’s desolate wilderness for the final confrontation with Duriel, the Lord of Pain. There will be no level cap, so all participants will be able to upgrade their characters as much as they want until the end of the technical alpha.
Diablo II: Resurrected features vastly enhanced graphics with incredible 4K resolution, full 3D physical rendering and fully remastered audio in Dolby Surround 7.1. Everything that is part of the technical alpha is still in development, but we look forward to receiving feedback from players on the sensations experienced with the timeless gameplay of Diablo II combined with the improvements we are working on, such as predation. automatic gold, the shared chest and controller support.
For this test, we will focus on testing the Diablo II: Resurrected single player experience. Multiplayer is obviously a very important part of Diablo II, but we’ll be conducting another test focusing on it later in the year.
