For a few days, with the start of Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Waron Activision’s battle royale has arrived what has become a nightmare for many players: the DMR 14 tactical rifle, the subject of heated debates by the community in recent days.
If some players of Call of Duty: Warzone seem to discuss the pros and cons of the new weapons arrived on the battle royale with the integration of Black Ops Cold War, the largest part of the community agrees on one topic in particular: the DMR 14 rifle is far too powerful.

The DMR 14, tactical semi-automatic rifle, is in fact characterized by a high level of damage, a phenomenal rate of fire and its shots can reach enormous distances. With the DMR 14, in a few well-aimed shots it is possible to disintegrate the entire armor of an enemy, sending him to the ground in a few moments.
A feeling that just doesn’t go down to Warzone playersa battle royale where you risk seeing a game of minutes and minutes thrown away for an unbalanced firefight against a DMR 14.
The result is that, for days and days, the Warzone lobbies between Verdansk and Rebirth Island have now been fully populated by DMR 14 and MAC-10, greatly flattening the gaming experience and making all other weapons of the battle royale virtually superfluous. those of Modern Warfare last year.

To date, after many days of controversy that have emerged on the web, Treyarch has not yet expressed opinions or disseminated details regarding a possible nerf of the weapon, which however the Warzone community continues to clamor for.
In fact, it appears that Warzone’s integration with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War weapons did not go as Activision expected, with strong imbalances which derive from the problems already discussed on several occasions for the weapons of the last shooter of the series. Users, since the release of the game, have in fact complained of excessive imbalances in multiplayer with weapons such as the MP5, the M16 and AUG riflesand the machine gun Stoner. The developers have already changed some parameters, but many problems persist.
Activision’s popular battle royale is therefore at the center of a very important new controversy, which joins the complaints of pro players in recent days who have lashed out against Warzone defining it as a non-competitive game.
