The launch of Dying Light 2 it has been accompanied by some complaints about problems or absences in terms of particular functions, but there is good news.
After releasing some hotfixes over the weekend, like the day one patch which fixed more than 1000 bugs, Techland he has declared that “Will continue to fix other problems in the coming days”.
These already active hotfixes include improved cooperative stability, fixes for missing textures and audio issues, troubleshooting with redeeming in-game rewards from Twitch drops and the like, and performance improvements for DLSS and ray tracing.
Techland’s plan for the PC version of Dying Light 2 this week, the study reported on Twitter, includes ready-to-implement fixes for game crash bugs, situations that could cause endless black screens, replication of corpses of AI in cooperative mode. The next update will also address the issue that plagues players who are unable to sell valuables to vendors, and should also bring other improvements to DLSS.
Beyond that, the developer is working on mouse key binding issues and support for custom mouse buttons, possibly allowing players to enable English audio even if their local language is not set to English, settings additional videos and backup saves. Story crashes, bugs ending in a death cycle, and some visual bugs that appear in the hospital during the Markers of Plague mission will also be fixed soon.
