- Fantastic soundtracks rearranged under the supervision of the original composer, Nobuo Uematsu.
- Improved gameplay including support for controllers and touch controls, a modernized interface, automatic combat options and more!
- A deep dive thanks to extra contents, such as the bestiary, the gallery, the music player and the ability to save at any time.
Looking back on the long history of the beloved series, the “father of FINAL FANTASY”, Hironobu Sakaguchi said: “When I was working on the original games, I never thought the FINAL FANTASY series would be remastered nearly 35 years later. The video game industry was just born in those days. There was no one else to lead the way, so we had to continue to be at the forefront. I remember we kept trying and discarding many things. I am very happy and grateful that FINAL FANTASY still exists after all this time. “ Yoshinori Kitase, FINAL FANTASY brand manager and FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE producer, added: “Whenever a new FINAL FANTASY title comes out, I think there is always someone who wants to go back to the origins of the series. This project was born because we wanted to offer fans and new players a convenient way to enjoy these classics with unified graphics and user interface. “ Additionally, regarding the celebrated FINAL FANTASY score, series composer Nobuo Uematsu said: “This time we rearranged all the songs. At first my idea was to stay true to the original ones, but obviously I couldn’t leave the three-channel sound as it was at the time, so we rebuilt them as complete songs. I made sure to keep the original vibe and make sure that each song can be heard separately, so I hope you enjoy them. “
Those who pre-purchase games on Steam will receive two exclusive wallpapers, three songs and a 20% discount for each title.
