Ubisoft announces that from January 21st all users of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be able to participate in Operation Amber Sky, a new live event that will allow them to fight alongside some teammates of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.
The Operation Amber Sky live event will be included in Title Update 3.10, available for free download by all players from January 19th. The update will include:
- 9 free missions: the Ghosts have learned that Sentinel is producing a poisonous gas, Amber Ruin, in Auroa, to be sold around the world. By joining forces with an undercover team from Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, players must stop production and find an antidote. To do so, they will have to complete a wide range of objectives and venture into certain areas infested with lethal gas, where they will have to wear a gas mask and change the filters regularly to survive. Once the event missions are completed, players will unlock eleven unique rewards, including new weapons and full skins from Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.
-
New teammates: after completing the first mission of the live event,
players will be able to select operators Ash, Finka and Thatcher at any time and in any mode, as an alternative to normal teammates. Their looks, weapons and abilities mirror those of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. - More than 120 new customization items: including some full operator skins and many more.
