GTA 5 Enhanced and Expanded, PS Germany confirms 4K and 60 fps

Grand Theft Auto V will return on November 11 on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S with the Expanded and Enhanced Edition, a re-release of the 2013 Rockstar Games blockbuster that will take advantage of the latest generation console hardware.

The game will have a particular partnership with PlayStation, as demonstrated by the announcement that took place in June last year during the PS5 showcase.

The arrival of GTA 5 on the new consoles will also correspond with the launch of a standalone version of GTA Online, which will be free for PlayStation Plus subscribers for the first three months.

In addition to this information, however, the details on GTA 5 Enhanced and Expanded. We expect the game to become the protagonist of one of Sony’s next State of Play, but, at the moment, we have no indications on when the next digital appointment of the Japanese giant could be.

To our rescue, however, comes PlayStation Germany, which through an article dedicated to the most anticipated titles of 2021 (among which it does not find space Horizon: Forbidden West…), it seems to officially reveal that the re-release of GTA 5 will turn to 60 frames per second and with 4K resolution on the latest generation consoles – the reference is to PS5 of course, but we can assume that the Xbox Series X and Series S versions will also boast these features.

The blog also confirms that there will be a definite graphic update “bold”, however it is not clear what the author is referring to.
