GTA 5 reaches 145 million copies sold, the next-gen version has a release date

On the sidelines of the official announcement of the Grand Theft Auto V release date on PS5 and Xbox Series X | SRockstar Games has released the increasingly incredible numbers recorded by the game that will blow out its eighth candle in a few months.

Take Two Interactive, which in the last few hours had announced that The Outer Worlds, the game developed by Obsidian Entertainment, has exceeded 3 million units sold, has confirmed the sales figures for a number of his other franchises.

Grand Theft Auto 5, despite almost 8 years in business, it continues to surprise: the game has surpassed 145 million units sold to date. The GTA series as a whole has also sold over 345 million units so far.

As for the other Take-Two titles, Red Dead Redemption 2 has sold more than 37 million units, with the series now surpassing 60 million in total.

Great success for Borderlands 3 – it had already been confirmed to have sold 13 million so far – but it continues to surprise even its predecessor, Borderlands 2, which is still going strong and has reached 25 million units sold. The franchise has reached 70 million units sold.

The number that most surprises is certainly that of GTA V, which was also the protagonist of an announcement in the last few hours.
