At the beginning of last year Rockstar officially revealed that it was working on GTA 6, but this was just an appetizer of what happened last September with the sensational leak of news and material with 90 videos published on the net. The software house, which collapsed on the stock market due to this attack, confirmed a few hours later that the clips are in fact the first prototypes of GTA 6, which clearly shouldn’t have appeared on the net, however, and in the following days the person responsible for the attack was identified and arrested. The attack must certainly not have pleased a Rock starswhich however continued to work hard on GTA 6. We still don’t know substantially anything about the game, but in the recent hours something has started to move.
After the rumors that saw Take-Two engaged in a powerful marketing campaign in Miami, later corroborated by the actor Bryan Zampella, in the recent hours a new information has hit the Rockstar production.
In fact, through a financial document released by Take-Two, we have the opportunity to know, in all probability, the launch window of Grand Theft Auto VI. The report issued by the company, in fact declaims that for the fiscal year 2025 (which will begin next April 1, 2024 and will end on March 31, 2025) revenues of 8 billion dollars are expected.
Here is a small excerpt:
Looking ahead, fiscal 2025 is a highly anticipated year for our company. Over the past few years, we have prepared our business to launch an incredibly robust pipeline of projects that we believe will take us to even greater levels of success. In fiscal 2025, we expect to launch several game-changing titles that we believe will set new standards in our industry and enable us to achieve more than $8 billion in projected revenues.
Although obviously GTA 6 is not mentioned in the slightest, there is no doubt that among the Take-Two productions that will guarantee profits of that magnitude, there is certainly also the new effort of the great R. Consequently we can expect (unofficially) the release of the game over the next year.
