All Game News

GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated video games ever. The series has been orphaned of a new chapter for almost 8 years, waiting for it to be further extended given that by the end of the year GTA V will be revived on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S with a new version.

Fans continue to wait for information on the future of the Grand Theft Auto series, but for the moment Rockstar Games is turning a deaf ear. The only official news from the developers earlier this year is a pleasant but predictable confirmation, which hasn’t provided any particular succulent details regarding GTA 6.

However, as always, the leakers think about talking about what is perhaps the most anticipated video game ever, and in the last few hours the web has again been invaded by a series of rumors concerning the setting of the future game.

Tom Hendersona reliable leaker when it comes to big AAA titles like Call of Duty and Battlefield, has indeed reported that GTA 6 may return to Vice City with an ever-changing mapa modern setting and a female protagonist.

In an interesting YouTube video, Henderson discussed all the information that came to his ears about the new Rockstar Games production, obviously starting a series of debates on the net. The information you will find below is obviously not official, but we reiterate once again the reliability of the leaker.

To begin, Henderson states that GTA 6 will take place in a modern one Vice City, thus closing the door to the possible settings of the 80s and 90s leaked in the past months and years. The reason for this choice would soon be said: GTA Online. If GTA 6 were to go back to the 80s or 90s, it could cause difficulties in implementing the game with online mode.

GTA Online continues to bring billions of dollars into the company’s pockets, and Rockstar Games will look to continue the popular multiplayer game with GTA 6. Obviously, anything other than a modern setting would limit what can be included in multiplayer, after the software house has collected feedback from the many years of activity of GTA V by monitoring the requests of the public.

Henderson he continues by stating that the game map, at least at the beginning, will not be as vast as the leaks seemed to suggest, but that it will evolve over time. Gamers of GTA 6 might expect DLC, possible in-game events, new future explorable areas and stuff like that.

The insider compared the “evolving” Vice City to constant changes to Fortnite’s Battle Royale map, with various events and seasons changing the look of the setting. According to his source, fans might expect that new areas and locations come to Vice City with each DLC.

As for the other details discussed, Henderson claims that in GTA 6 too the ability to play more playable characters will returnand that one of the protagonists will be a female character described as bright and responsible, who also manages the technological and hacking side of the criminal operations.

The launch window, however, still seems far away. The insider is not unbalanced in a precise forecast, but claims that GTA 6 could be expected to wait until 2025, therefore with pessimistic hypotheses compared to the recent considerations that spoke of 2023 as a possible year to finally see the new chapter of the series.
