It seems that the universe of tomb Raider is about to get even bigger, and now also Netflix he wants to have his say.
The streaming giant has long been planning to adapt the famous franchise of tomb Raidera videogame series whose beginnings date back to 1996 and which in the last decade has been adapted and revisited through multiple mediums, including cinema.
To the movie series tomb Raiderfor which a second chapter is in development, will soon add a brand new animated series produced by Netflix, and which will see Hayley Atwell in the “shoes” of the video game icon.
The update comes from Netflix itself, as the site has confirmed that the British actress will give voice to the protagonist Lara Croft. We do not know any further details on the project, except that, as Netflix confirms, this anime will be set after the events of the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy under Square Enix which ended (?)
