Surprisingly, Guerrilla Games appeared on the stage of the Gamescon 2021 Opening Night Live with Horizon: Forbidden Westthe sequel to Zero Dawn.
The authors of Killzone made a surprise appearance at the event hosted by Geoff Keighley, presenting some updates on the development of Forbidden West.
First of all, Guerrilla Games reminded all players of the arrival of the next-gen patch of Horizon: Zero Dawn, which unlocks 60fps on PlayStation 5.
Then comes the announcement that everyone was waiting for, namely the exit dateand there’s bad news: the game was officially on postponed.
Thankfully, the delay is limited to a few months, as Horizon: Forbidden West will be available on PS5 and PS4 from February 18, 2022.
As communicated by the developers on the PS Blog, shortly after Guerrilla’s appearance at Gamescom, i preorder of Horizon: Forbidden West will officially open on September 2and next week we will have details on this along with, perhaps, the announcement of the special editions of the game.
A cold shower for PlayStation users. After the month of September, in fact, there are currently no other exclusives on PS5 and PS4 before 2022.
Horizon: Forbidden West it was last seen about two months ago, during a dedicated State of Play that showed its gameplay for the first time.
