Josef Fares has made some interesting statements not regarding his latest product, It Takes Two. The Swedish developer, in fact, talked about another title that is the protagonist of the biggest and most recent controversies within the videogame world. And yes, we’re talking about Cyberpunk 2077. But what did he have to say about it?
Released in early December, the incomplete status of the CD Projekt RED title raised quite a few diatribes and led the Polish studio to offer several thousand refunds to its users. Josef Fares, on the other hand, believes that the controversies surrounding the game have been excessiveand in a Q&A session he simply replied that “Cyberpunk received an unfair amount of shit“. When asked if the numerous criticisms were right, Fares compared the attacks to CD Projekt RED with a “witch hunt“, Recalling deplorable events such as death threats against developers.
In fact, we recall that the Polish studio has recently suffered a major cyber attack, which not only slowed down the release of Cyberpunk 2077 patches, but also put employees at great risk, since hackers had access to their personal data. From his last press releaseCD Projekt RED kept silent while the investigations continue.
Returning to Josef Fares, let us remember that It Takes Two will be available from March 26 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and PC. We therefore look forward to further news.
