With a fairly unpredictable release, Telltale Games has again postponed LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagathe new game from the software house that will celebrate the entire Star Wars film series from The phantom menace to The rise of Skywalker.
The game is not new to postponements: initially scheduled for last year, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was postponed to spring 2021, but the lack of news was starting to make users suspicious.
Suspicions that materialized yesterday, when Telltale Games announced on Twitter that the game is again postponed and this time to a later date.
The motivation is to want to create a product that reflects the expectations of the public, and this means needing a greater amount of time available.

It is obviously not a happy moment for the gaming division of Warner Bros., which in the space of a few months has seen its 2021 line-up crumble. In addition to LEGO Star Wars, currently without a launch window, they have already been both Hogwarts Legacy and Gotham Knights postponed, both to 2022.
If Telltale’s game also slides into next year, it will be a particularly unsuccessful year for WB in video games.
