Today SQUARE ENIX announced that the event Tachyon Anomaly for Marvel’s Avengers is now available. Initially revealed a month ago during SQUARE ENIX PRESENTS, the Tachyon Anomaly event includes various activities, including the ability to form squads of online players with more than one version of the same superhero for any mission, starting today and running through May 3. .
The world is shaken, as AIM’s weathering caused periodic tachyon anomalies. During these events, Avengers from different timelines will be able to converge in one place to face the threats of the world together, allowing players to form online squads containing more than one version of the same superhero. Players will also be able to use matchmaking to join teams containing the same heroes, paving the way for new and exciting team compositions.
During the two-week event, players who complete any Time Strike mission will be rewarded with the exclusive Time Strike animated plaque, which can be used with any superhero. Completing additional Temporal Assault missions will grant priority gear sets for high-level heroes.
The Tachyon Anomaly event will also make Tachyon Rift missions accessible to heroes with power levels 1-100, allowing all players to take on them. Finally, the event also introduces a new Tachyon Fracture mission, “Back on the Stage,” available at the strategy table, which will give players a greater selection of Tachyon Fractures.
