Marvel’s Spider-Man, users discover the unprecedented Spider-Cop costume ever released!

All Game News

Unbelievable but true, in Marvel’s Spider-Man there are also costumes that were never officially released by Insomniac Games.

While Arrampicamuri fans anxiously await the launch of Playstation 5the new Sony console with which the Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales spin-off will also arrive, incredibly we return to talk about the first chapter of what is preparing to become a video game saga, and for a really interesting gem for Marvel comic fans.

A gamer and modder of Marvel’s Spider-Man, the PS4 exclusive released in 2018, has discovered indeed a brand new skin and unused in the game, and that skin is nothing but Spider Cop. It is a nice reference to a recurring curtain between Peter Parker and Yuri Watanabe, in which the superhero identifies himself with the name of Spider-Cop, that is to say Spider Policeman.

The character, however, was even made canon by Marvel during the comic event Spider-Geddonin which Peter from Marvel’s Spider-Man universe learns of his existence.

Until today, we thought it was simply a nice curtain, and instead the modder jedijosh920 found that in the game files there is really a costume dedicated to the Spider-Cop version of the superherocomplete with a fake mustache applied to the mask and the New York policeman’s hat.

As you can see from the video below, made by the same user, the outfit is apparently complete, which makes it even more strange that Insomniac Games did not want to list it as usable.

We don’t know the reason for this choice, but neither Insomniac nor Sony have decided to comment on this discovery, which ended up online a few days ago.

Will we perhaps see the Spider-Cop suit in the sequel to the game, not yet announced but in which it seems that we will also meet a very powerful wizard and Sorcerer Supreme?

Thanks for reading!
