As anticipated yesterday via a Tweet, Ed Boon and Netherrealm Studios have officially presented Mortal Kombat 1new chapter of the fighting game series made in USA and partial reboot of the saga.
Specifically it was shown a reveal trailer in which it is possible to recognize several already known characters (Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, Shang Tsung, Kitana, Mileena, Kung Lao).
Specifically the new title it won’t be a real reboot as had been hinted in the previous days. The facts of Mortal Kombat 1 are closely related to what we saw in the final of MK11 even if, in all likelihood, we will end up living the facts of the first Mortal Kombat in a completely different timeline.

The video concluded with the announcement of the release date, set for next September 19, 2023. As anticipated in some leaks, Mortal Kombat 1 will arrive only on current gen, that is PS5, Xbox Series S/X and Nintendo Switch.
