To thank everyone who purchased FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE for the PlayStation 4 console, Square Enix will offer them a free update for PS5 that will include next generation graphics and the improvements described above at no additional cost to play on the PS5 console.
In addition to making some fantastic improvements, FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE will also include an unreleased episode with Yuffie as the protagonist. In this new adventure, ninja Yuffie Kisaragi will infiltrate the Shinra palace to steal a very powerful material and restore her glory to her homeland. You play alongside new characters and enjoy a gaming experience enriched with new combat and gameplay elements. Those who have purchased FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE for PS4 and have upgraded to PS5 will be able to purchase the new episode of Yuffie separately on the PlayStation Store. Those who have purchased the physical version of FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE for PS4 will need a PS5 console with player to take advantage of this digital update.
FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE will be available in physical and digital Standard Edition, and in Digital Deluxe Edition available on PlayStation Store. The FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE Digital Deluxe Edition includes a digital mini soundtrack with songs such as “Descendant of Shinobi” and a digital artbook with concept art and character cards. Those who pre-order the digital standard version or the Digital Deluxe Edition of FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE will receive the Shuryactus weapon for use in the new Yuffie episode as a pre-order bonus.
