Bandai Namco announced in a press release, which we report below, that some new experimental vehicles are coming to Ace Combat 7 thanks to a new DLC.

New planes are on the horizon for ACE COMBAT 7: SKIES UNKNOWN with the new “Experimental Aircraft Series” DLC coming this spring!
After adding some of the most famous and beloved aircraft of the previous chapters of the series, for the first time those added will be completely new.
The “Experimental Aircraft Series” DLC will bring 3 types of true experimental aircraft, developed to improve performance and attack capabilities:
- F-15 S / MTD (The Boeing Company)
- F-16XL (Lockheed Martin Corporation)
- FB-22 Strike Raptor (Lockheed Martin)
In addition to the 3 aircraft, new skins and emblems of enemy pilots and rival units from past games will also be available.
