Pokemon TV arrives on Switch, you can see the animated series for free!

Nintendo posted on Switch the new app Pokémon TVa brand new streaming content application dedicated entirely to the Japanese monster franchise.

The application, completely free, offers a vast library of streaming videos among which obviously stands out Pokémon animated series with Ash and Pikachu. At the time of the release of the Pokémon TV app, the following seasons of the series are available:

  • Season 1 (Series: Dawn)
  • Season 2 (Series: Dawn)
  • Season 10 (Series: Diamond and Pearl)
  • Season 11 (Series: Diamond and Pearl)
  • Season 12 (Series: Diamond and Pearl)
  • Season 13 (Series: Diamond and Pearl)
  • Season 20 (Series: Sun and Moon Ultravventure)
  • Season 21 (Series: Sun and Moon Ultravventure)
  • Season 22 (Series: Sun and Moon Ultravventure)
  • Season 23 (Explorations: The Series)

Among other animated series and products, we also point out the presence of Pokémon: Origins, Pokémon: Twilight Wings And Pokémon: Generations.

In the app there is also the Children category with Pokémon Kids TV, a series of videos dedicated to the youngest with songs to sing, famous nursery rhymes and much more, all obviously dedicated to the Nintendo franchise.

Nintendo, on the official product page, said that the contents will change periodically, so it is likely that in the coming weeks and months other products will be added such as animated films, missing seasons of the Pokémon series and, perhaps, also. Pokémon: Detective Pikachu2019 live action film starring Ryan Reynolds and Justice Smith.

Speaking of live action, we remind you that Netflix and Nintendo are developing a TV series dedicated to Pokémon.

For the Pokémon brand these are therefore decidedly hectic months, also considering that in the fall the remakes of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl will arrive on the Switch, while in January 2022 it will be the turn of Pokémon Legends: Arceusan innovative open world experience set in the Hisui region and of which we saw a new gameplay trailer a few days ago.
