Much to his surprise, a much anticipated announcement arrives: Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart officially has one exit date!
The new game from Insomniac Games, a sequel to Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus, will be available from 11 June, exclusively on PlayStation 5.
The announcement was made by the same software house of PlayStation Studios, which also revealed that Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart pre-orders are officially open.

Along with the release date, numerous details about the game have arrived, including the synopsis released by Insomniac Games:
When Dr. Nefarious gets his hands on an interdimensional travel device and uses it to reach a galaxy where he always wins, Ratchet and Clank are suddenly separated. In an attempt to reunite, they will meet a Lombax fighting in a rebel militia, they will explore environments that are partly new and partly known (but reinterpreted in a multidimensional key!) And, above all, they will wreak havoc with a crazy arsenal.
Pre-orders for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on PS5 are now open, and there are two editions available, the Standard Edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition. In addition to the game, the Standard Edition will include:
- Pixelizer weapon
- Carbonox armor
The Digital Deluxe Edition will include, in addition of course to a digital copy of the game:
- Pixelizer weapon
- Carbonox armor
- 5 sets of armor
- 20 pieces of Raritanium
- Digital soundtrack
- Digital artbook
Some pre-order bonuses will also be available at select retailers.
