Friday will be the big day of the debut of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Insomniac Games continues to load pending fans. This time he does it with a really funny Horizon-themed anecdote: Zero Dawn!
The exclusive PlayStation 5 Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apartthe new chapter of the twenty-year-old series born in 2002 on PS2, will be available from 11 June, and soon the specialized press will also spread the first reviews on the highly anticipated game.

In recent days, Insomniac Games has intensified the promotional campaign for the game, which also saw the “participation” of some special PlayStation-themed guests among the various images disseminated. To underline the multiversal journey that Ratchet and Clank will make in this new chapter, Insomniac has jokingly shown the side effects of this new adventure also on other Sony exclusives, such as Nathan Drake’s jeep that is sucked into a portal or the surprise appearance of Sly Cooper.

That’s not all, because the developers have also shared a short clip in which they show the mighty RYNO 8 in action, the strongest weapon in the game as it always happens in the series.
The peculiarity of the RYNO 8, as you can see from the video below, is to be able to exploit the dimensional power, and this will also lead to a slight “unexpected”. Insomniac has in fact shown some possible effects of the weapon in question, which is even capable of making appear in battle … the Thunder Devourer from Horizon: Zero Dawn!
This is obviously a nice reference to the work of Guerrilla Games, with the gigantic machine that can provide us with help in battle for a few seconds, as you can see. Who knows if this isn’t just one of the many references to the other PlayStation Studios titles. After all, we certainly wouldn’t mind seeing it appear Spider-Man to help Ratchet…
