Sony itself announces it through PlayStation’s social channels: the exclusive PS5 Returnal has been postponed.
Housemarquethe developers of Resogun and Dead Nation, announced his new title last summer, during the first reveal of PlayStation 5. Returnal, a roguelike action horror of which we have already had some tastes through the videos and the words of the insiders, it was originally scheduled for March 19, but will fail to meet the deadline announced earlier.
Fortunately, we won’t have to wait too long to try Returnalbecause the new release date is in fact set at April 30, 2021always exclusively on PlayStation 5.
We had no particular reasons for the postponement, except that the developers need more time to be able to complete the game.
Update: Returnal has a new release date, April 30, 2021. SIE and Housemarque have made the decision to move the release date to give the team more time to continue refining the game to the level of quality players have come to expect. Housemarque.
