In the next few days Sony will officially announce the PlayStation Plus games of April 2021but an alleged insider steps forward revealing the entire line-up of the service until the month of June.
Like every month, there are always many rumors and forecasts around what will be the games that Sony will offer to PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS4 and PS5. We have already collected a few days ago all the most interesting forecasts from the world of the web, which you can retrieve here.
Arrives today from 4chan But an interesting post, published by what claims to be a PR and marketing person for one of Sony’s third world divisions.
The author of the post, who obviously didn’t let anyone know about his identity – we’re still talking about 4chanwhich is not the best of reliability -, he said he has already seen what they will be free games on PS Plus for the months of April, May and June thanks to the promotional material they are preparing for the next period
The alleged insider then released a list of PS Plus games in the coming months, a list that contains some surprises. Here’s the list.
PS Plus games of April 2021
- Oddworld: Soulstorm (PS5), already confirmed by Sony during the State of Play in February
- Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions (PS4)
- A Hat in Time (PS4, PS5)
PS Plus games of May 2021
- Injustice 2 (PS5), in an upcoming Enhanced version
- Cuphead (PS4, PS5)
- Dreams (PS4, PS5, PS VR)
PS Plus games of June 2021
- Grand Theft Auto Online (PS5), in a standalone version compared to GTA 5
- Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus Remastered (PS5)
- Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus (PS4)
- A game that the source does not mention clearly, but which would have a similar title to The Creaks
The list of games for June is particularly curious, and also likely. The arrival of GTA Online on PlayStation 5, in a standalone version, is in fact expected for the next few months, and it was Sony itself last year to announce that the game would be available for free to PS Plus subscribers for the first three months. The inclusion of Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus it would then be made with a view to Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apartthe newest chapter in the Insomniac series coming right in June.
However, as some comments rightly point out, the alleged insider talks about Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus as a gift on PS4 and a Remastered version for PS5, but forgetting one detail: the game is actually released on PS3, and today it is not usable on PS4. Of course, nothing prevents Sony from preparing a sort of relaunch of the series and the return of the previous chapters on the store of the latest consoles, perhaps with the extension of backward compatibility that has returned to be talked about in recent days. For the moment, however, this is the most dubious detail of these rumors.
