Developer and publisher Tripwire Interactive today announces the launch of Maneater: Truth Quest, the first additional downloadable content for Maneater, the award-winning Action-RPG (shARkPG) where you play as a shark! Available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), Maneater: Truth Quest DLC requires the full base game, Maneater, to download and play.
After the dramatic conclusion of Maneater, the evolved shark protagonist and the journalist / storyteller Trip Westhaven return to Maneater: Truth Quest, an all-new adventure that takes players to Plover Island off the coast of Port Clovis – with new evolutions, challenges, wildlife and more! Players will once again take control of the sea predator to feed, explore and evolve to the top of the food chain.

The original Maneater is a single player open world action RPG (ShARkPG) where the shark is YOU. Starting as a tiny baby bull shark, you’re tasked with surviving the harsh world as you make your way through the ecosystem. To do this, you will explore a vast and varied open world by encountering different enemies, humans and wild animals. Find the right resources to grow and evolve far beyond what nature intended, allowing the player to adapt the shark to their own style of play. This is fortunate, because in order to take revenge on the cruel fisherman who dismembered you you will have to evolve into a huge shark, a legend. It eats. Explore. Evolve.
