On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the beloved DRAGON QUEST series, SQUARE ENIX has announced four new titles during a celebratory streaming event. Fans will see the arrival of DRAGON QUEST XII, DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake And DRAGON QUEST TREASURES. For the first time ever in DRAGON QUEST history, these three titles, which are currently in the early stages of development, will be released worldwide simultaneously. In addition, a new puzzle game for mobile devices was also announced during the stream DRAGON QUEST KESHI KESHI.


DRAGON QUEST XII will be a new chapter in the main series of the franchise, and comes after the huge success of the acclaimed DRAGON QUEST XI: Echoes of a lost age And DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of a Lost Age – Final Editionwhich together have sold more than 6.5 million copies worldwide.


This new visual iteration of DRAGON QUEST III will invite both longtime fans and new players to discover an HD-2D version of DRAGON QUEST III which will propose a unique three-dimensional effect thanks to the addition of 3D effects to the backgrounds made of pixels. DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake will be released on console.


DRAGON QUEST TREASURESan unreleased spin-off of the DRAGON QUEST series, explores the childhood of the brothers Mia and Erik of DRAGON QUEST XI: Echoes of a lost age. Players will step into the shoes of Mia and Erik and set out in search of treasure in this RPG adventure that takes place before the events of DRAGON QUEST XI: Echoes of a lost age.


This title, developed together with NHN PlayArt, is a free puzzle game for iOS and Android mobile devices in which the most famous characters, monsters and objects of the DRAGON QUEST series will be transformed into erasers to erase graffiti.
