Zynga and Lucasfilm Games announced Star Wars: Huntersa competitive fighting game that will be available on Switch and mobile devices in the course of 2021.
Star Wars: Hunters will lead players to engage in exciting team-based multiplayer battles, featuring several new Star Wars characters. The official trailer of the game debuted a few hours ago, during the Nintendo Direct.
Set after the fall of the Galactic Empire, Star Wars: Hunters will connect players in real time to fight in environments inspired by iconic Star Wars settings. Players will be able to choose from a cast of unique and distinctive new characters, including daring bounty hunters, Rebellion heroes and Imperial Stormtroopers, in an action game that immerses participants in a fast-paced and visually stunning Star Wars conflict.
“Bringing Star Wars: Hunters to Nintendo Switch and making it available to its audience of passionate fans marks an exciting milestone for Zynga”explained Bernard Kim, president of the publishing division of Zynga. “We created Star Wars: Hunters for every fan who has always dreamed of engaging in intense action game set in the Star Wars galaxy, and we’re thrilled to see Switch players embrace our entry into console video games.”

Star Wars: Hunters in the Mobile version it will be downloadable for free on the App Store and Google Play. Star Wars: Hunters does not require an online Nintendo Switch subscription to download and play.
