Surprisingly, three new maps have arrived for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

In total silence, too Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is enriched with some content on the occasion of the second phase of Season 2 of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.

The two games have welcomed some news a few hours ago (here you will find the complete list), and about Warzone we remind you that a decidedly substantial patch has also been launched but which will decrease the memory occupied by the game on the various platforms.

As noted also by the insider ModernWarzone, the Modern Warfare reboot also saw the arrival of some new content, notably three maps. One of these represents a historic comeback for the Infinity Ward franchise.

On the game originally launched in 2019 it was in fact added Killhouse, historical map of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare of 2007 then re-proposed also in other titles of the series. For the occasion, the developers have also added a 24/7 Moshpit playlist dedicated entirely to Killhouse.

It does not end there, because two other maps have also arrived on Modern Warfare, currently without dedicated playlists and also not available in PvP multiplayer, but only in private matches – we do not know when they will be available for public matchmaking.

The two new maps are Al-Raab Airbase And Drainage. The former is an airbase for medium to long range combat, while Drainage is designed for close combat.

It is certainly curious that Infinity Ward and Activision have not communicated the arrival of the new maps on Modern Warfare. However, it is possible that the studio has decided not to take away attention to the new content of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, the two games on which the greatest efforts are focused.
