After having been talked about for the story relating to GTA 6, in the recent hours Take-Two has returned to the limelight of information for a new operation carried out.
The publisher has indeed announced the acquisition of GameCluba subscription service dedicated solely to mobile platforms. However, no numerical data dedicated to the matter was presented as GameClub represents a private company and therefore the rules do not provide for the obligation to disclose the expenditure made to close the deal.
The core business of the newly acquired by Take-Two is that of provide premium mobile titles by subscribing to a subscription. The securities portfolio includes, for example, Toki Tori, Stellar Wars, Waking Mars and Frozen Synapse.
At the moment no future plans generated by this operation have been revealed, but it seems self-evident that the American publisher wants (also) to further explore the territory of gaming on smartphones and tablets. There is therefore nothing left to do but wait for further updates on the matter.
