HBO has announced the cast of The Last of Us, the new TV series in collaboration with Sony that was born as an adaptation of the 2013 Naughty Dog masterpiece.
In the role of Joelthe protagonist, we will find Pedro Pascalthe star of Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian and recently seen in Wonder Woman 1984!
For the part of Elliethe other protagonist of the story, was instead chosen Beautiful Ramseythe young actress who played Lyanna Mormont in the series game of Thrones.
These are the first two confirmed actors for The Last of Us, the television adaptation by HBO of the Sony PlayStation franchise developed by the creator of Chernobyl Craig Mazin, and Neil Druckmann of Naughty Dog.
The official announcement of the series dates back to last year, when in the spring HBO announced that it was working with Sony on the TV adaptation of the masterpiece released in 2013 on PS3, and then continued in 2019 on PS4 with The Last of Us: Part II.
The story takes place twenty years after modern civilization was destroyed by a pandemic. Joel is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of the quarantine zone on behalf of the group of Lights.
We do not know when the shooting of the series will start The Last of Usnor when it will be launched.
