Ahead of the game’s launch on PlayStation 5 next month, Bloober Team presents a new video: The Medium PS5 – Gamescom Launch Trailer.
The trailer shows the key elements of the story and features both the main locations and the protagonists, including the Hound, a mysterious entity from the spirit world.
The soundtrack consists of “Across the shore” a theme created by Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikowski, and performed by Mary Elisabeth McGlynn.
The Medium will arrive on PlayStation 5 on September 3, 2021. Following a successful global launch on PC and Xbox Series X | S on January 28, 2021, Bloober Team is excited to bring The Medium to PS5 ™ to take advantage of the console hardware and DualSense controller, giving gamers the experience of exploring two worlds simultaneously.
The Medium is a third person psychological horror game that features innovative dual reality gameplay. Players take on the role of Marianne, a medium with different psychic abilities, and explore the real world and the world of spirits alternately and simultaneously to uncover a dark mystery, sinister spirits and devious puzzles that only a medium can solve.
Players can pre-order the game on PlayStation Store with a 10% discount for PS Plus members before launch. Pre-order players will receive the original digital soundtrack (by Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikowski) and The Art of The Medium (digital artbook).
Bloober Team and Black Screen Records will also release The Medium Original Soundtrack on vinyl and CD, scheduled for release in October.
Developed and published by Bloober Team, The Medium is the most ambitious project to date and will be available on PlayStation 5 on September 3, 2021
