All Game News

In a press release that we leave you below, 2K Games and Gearbox Software have announced the arrival of Show Me the Eridiuma new event of Borderlands 3 which kicks off today.

It may be April 1st, but today’s news is no joke, Crypt Hunters! Another Borderlands 3 mini event kicked off today, starting April 8 and two new machines are being added to the base game: Crazy Earl’s Reroll and Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine, both of which will be available to all players at no additional cost.

Crazy Earl’s Reroll is a big boon for Vault Hunters looking to get the most out of their gear. By spending some of your precious Eridium, Crazy Earl’s contraption will replace the existing Anointment on an item. Ointments are powerful effects that can unlock the full potential of your character building. By rebuilding the Anointments on your favorite pieces of equipment, you can create the most optimized loadouts imaginable, Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine, all we know is that this vending machine offers legendary top tier loot and will be hidden in a new location every week (although it will not be necessary to patrol the DLC areas, as it will only appear in the areas
of the basic campaign).

It will be up to the Borderlands community to track down Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine every week and see what it has to offer.

But it doesn’t stop there! From today until April 8, you can take advantage of the limited-time mini-event “Show Me the Eridium”. You can expect drops of Eridium from standard enemies, more drops of Eridium in Mayhem Mode, discounted Eridium costs to use Moxxi’s Vault Line slot machine, and a discount on all items sold by Crazy Earl in Sanctuary III’s Cargo Bay. This is the perfect time to grab tons of the rare Eridium element, especially if you’re gearing up for the upcoming raid boss.

Please note that Vault Cards are currently only accessible to players who own the Director’s Cut add-on and cannot be purchased individually or separately. Likewise, Diamond Keys must be earned through play and cannot be purchased individually or separately.

Borderlands 3 is available for: Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
