Almost 6 years after its release, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt continues to be taken as an example by many productions and to be the subject of curious tributes. Giveaways just like the ones we recommend today.

Launched in 2015 on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and revived with an excellent porting in 2019 on the Nintendo Switch (here our review), the third chapter of The Witcher saga has quickly become an icon of the video game world, also thanks to some of his famous sequences.

Among these there is certainly the famous bathtub scene, in which the protagonist Geralt of Rivia allows himself a little rest – and not only – after the efforts of a witcher. The sequence is the opening scene of the game, which is also why it is one of the most well-known moments by fans of The Witcher 3.

Anders Lundbjork, game developer, has decided to pay homage to Geralt’s iconic bathtub scene with a “demake”, which is a reconstructed version of the same scene. as if The Witcher 3 were a 90s video game released on the first PlayStation console.

Lundbjork is certainly not new to this type of homage: already on the occasion of the release of Cyberpunk 2077another game from CD Projekt Red, the developer had released a demastered giveaway of the recent title released on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

We leave you to watch the short and curious video, in which the sequence of the tub also has a very different ending than the one we remembered. A nice tribute, which once again testifies to the imagination of fans and developers.

We also remind you that CDPR has announced that it is working on a re-release of The Witcher 3 for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, which will harness the power of the new hardware.
