The long awaited moment has finally arrived. Tonight, 20 January 2020, at 21.00, at the “Mapei Stadium – City of the Tricolor” Reggio Emilia, the big match will be staged between Juventus, first in last season in Serie A TIM And Napleswinner of the last edition of the Italian Coca-Cola Cup; challenge that will decide the awarding of one of the most important trophies of the football season: the PS5 ™ Supercup 2020.
As Title Sponsor of the competition, Sony Interactive Entertainment Italyin partnership with Serie A Leagueis pleased to announce a series of activations that will accompany spectators for the entire duration of the event and also in the following days.
In the course of the game, it will be used an innovative camera able to guarantee footage that, used in replay of some actions, they guarantee a view similar to that of football video games. The technique, already successfully tested in athletics and Formula 1, does not exploit wide-angle shots – as usual in football – but focuses on a pitch: the different type of approach allows you to enjoy immersive and dynamic actions.
But that’s not all: in addition to the football played, the exciting match between Juventus and Napoli will also be played on PlayStation®5 (PS5 ™) by two special guests: Anastasiuswell-known rapper from Campania, who will represent the Naples And Shadefamous rapper from Turin, who will hold the flag of the Juventus. The match will have coverage of the competition broadcasters, from RAI to the Lega Serie A international magazine. In addition, the full three-minute highlights will subsequently be visible on the PlayStation and Lega Serie A social platforms.
Finally, to seal the extraordinary event, Sony Interactive Entertainment Italy announced the contest “PS5 Supercup Top-of-the-line commentary“, Thanks to which the players – from January 15 to February 5 – will be able to play the role of commentator to win a PlayStation 5 (PS5). To participate, users must make a video, lasting up to 30 seconds, with the commentary of their gameplay of any game available on PlayStation platforms. The best clips will then be shot and commented on by the legendary commentator Bruno Pizzul. The first three classified will win in order:
- PS5 standard edition complete with all peripherals;
- PS5 Standard edition;
- Pulse 3D headphones.
The competition is valid from January 15th to February 5th 2021.
