The official blog of call of Duty has been updated a few minutes ago with a new indication from the developers for the Battle of Verdansk, the PvE event that in a few minutes will introduce players to the reveal of Call of Duty: Vanguard.
Soon, Activision’s battle royale will be updated with a playlist dedicated to the reveal of Call of Duty: Vanguard, the new game in the series developed by Sledgehammer Games (and not only).
In a note on the Call of Duty blog, the developers explained what players need to participate in the reveal event, also specifying that it will be important to have one in particular of three assault rifles already listed.

Here is what the developers explained:
In a few moments we will be fielding our first teams for the Battle of Verdansk. The eyes of the community and Verdansk are upon you – this task will not be easy, as your enemy is well-equipped, well-armored and on an almost unstoppable collision course with the Verdansk railway station. Take this time until 10:30 PT to assemble your team and train within the Warzone. During this “Target Practice Hour”, all operators will receive Double Player XP, Double Weapon XP and Double Battle Pass XP simply by committing to Verdansk or Rebirth Island.
HQ has identified the following armaments you should familiarize yourself with prior to this meeting, all standard:
For your primary weapon, We recommend that you become proficient in AK-47, FARA 83 and C58 assault rifles, if you haven’t already. As for your secondary, you know the strengths and weaknesses of the RPG-7. All of these weapons are identified as being from the Cold War era and do not need to be equipped manually – HQ provides them to you on the infiltration floor, even if your primary weapon will be randomly selected from one of the three.
A reminder about headquarters information: There will be a “playlist update” at approximately 10:30 am PT – do not exit Warzone if you are playing before this update, as it will happen in real time and will not require a re-launch of the game. Keep checking the Play tab for a real-time update that will lead to the start of the battle.
No matter when you decide to infiltrate, be prepared – the battle begins at 10:30 am PT.
