The players of Warzone are not happy with Raven’s choice to nerf the FAL rifle from Modern Warfare, a change made operational in the update of the Season 5 Reloaded. The community is in fact starting to complain on the web.
The second phase of Season 5 of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, available recently, has introduced a fair variety of buffs and nerfs to the battle royale that have once again shifted the balance, while the community continues to think about the news coming in occasion of the release of Vanguard with the new map and other news.
Although many may have been happy with the changes in the patch notes, such as the Krig nerf 6some are not happy with the modifications to the FAL rifle.
The Reddit user SindraGan2001 has published his own frustration and disappointment at the developers’ choice to nerf the Fal with the following post, which quickly became trending:
They actually nerfed the FAL… again! They say their data says the FAL is a monster. Well, no me ** a when only hackers / cheaters use it! The main goal of the weapon is to be strong if you hit headshots, which is not easy at all …
The patch notes, in fact, state that players will now need an extra headshot with the FAL to get the best TTK of the weapon, which is not a move that has already gone nicely for players.

User on Reddit says the only reason the developer data suggests the weapon is “An absolute monster” and why “only hackers / cheaters use it “. Although the developers say the change will still allow the FAL to achieve a low TTK, players in the comments of the Reddit post seem to think otherwise:
Wtf. I use the FAL a lot, and after the last nerf it already looked like some kind of shot scoring machine, now they have made it unusable for most players besides hackers who can only get headshots.
As often happens, Raven will therefore find herself now also managing these complaints against the FAL nerf.
