ubisoft announces a series of collaborations with Insight Editions, Aconyte and Glénat for the launch of three products that will go to expand the Watch Dogs: Legion universe: a novel written by James Swallow and Josh Reynolds published by Aconyte, a lorebook created by Rick Barba and published by Insight Editions, as well as a comic book written and drawn by Sylvain Runberg and Gabriel Germain, and published by Glénat. Watch Dogs: Legion will be available on October 29, 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Stadia and Windows PC, via the Epic Games store and Uplay. The game will also be available for UPLAY+, Ubisoft’s subscription service. Watch Dogs: Legion will then arrive on November 10 for Xbox Series X / S and will be launched digitally for PlayStation 5 at the launch of the new console on November 12, 2020. The retail edition for PlayStation 5 will instead be available from November 24.
The three books will allow players and readers to explore the world of Watch Dogs: Legion with a new perspective and discover another point of view on the universe of the game.

The novel, entitled Watch Dogs Legion: Day Zero, will be published by Aconyte in both the US and UK, with an ebook launch scheduled for October 13 and a print release on November 3. The book immerses readers in an all-action prequel to Watch Dogs: Legion, seen through the eyes of a would-be hacker caught up in a conspiracy that threatens the game’s dark, dystopian London. Authored by James Swallow, BAFTA-nominated writer and author of Marc Dane’s #1 New York Times, Sunday Times and Amazon bestselling thriller series, as well as tie-in novels for Star Trek, Warhammer, Doctor Who and Deus Ex, along with Josh Reynolds, recently author of Knight of the Blazing Sun for the Black Library and twenty other acclaimed tie-in novels.
The Resistance Report, published by Insight Editions, will be available on October 27, 2020 in the US, Canada and the UK. It will allow readers to explore the world of Watch Dogs: Legion with some illustrated research files that will provide an insight into the key elements of the universe of the game, including detailed profiles of the transformed city of London and its boroughs, as well as factions, vehicles, weapons, technology and much more. Filled with engaging text and exclusive images, this book is the ultimate guide to the lore of the game. Author Rick Barba has worked on over 150 titles, including a series of books dedicated to Star Trek, StarCraft And LEGO: Jurassic World.
Finally, the graphic novel underground resistance, published by Glénat and available only in French, which will be launched at the same time as the game. In Watch Dogs: Legion, near-future London is threatened by a corrupt private military corporation, organized crime and some cybercriminals trying to impose their vision on the city. But a resistance group emerges that intends to oppose this downfall, DedSec. Discover a futuristic thriller starring a resistance cell gathered around an investigative journalist, Louise Hartford, and an underground DJ, Adam Logan, in this comic by Sylvain Runberg, a famous comic book author (Le Chant des Runesthe adaptation of Millennium Saga) and Gabriel Germain, a young artist with a very particular style. The graphic novel will consist of two issues of 54 pages each.
