Microsoft has announced that, starting from the holiday season, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to stream games to the cloud on both Xbox Series X and Xbox One, and beware: there will be no limitations.
The expansion of the service It will allow Xbox One owners to play Xbox Series X games on their consoleprovided that the game in question is part of the Xbox Game Pass library and is available for streaming.
Although Microsoft hasn’t said anything about a release date for the xCloud service on consoles, the news is really interesting.
Thanks to this feature, Xbox One users will be able to enjoy games such as The Medium and Microsoft Flight Simulator, titles that until now are only available for Xbox Series X | S and PC.
Microsoft said Xbox Cloud Gaming will support resolution up to 1080p at 60 frames per second, the same as Cloud Gaming that Game Pass offers for Windows PCs, Android, and Apple iOS devices.
For Xbox Series X owners, the update will result in players having access to “Over 100 high-quality games in the Xbox Game Pass library without using up valuable storage space”.
